Born and raised in the Northwest, Dr. Ilyin first became an Eye Doctor after graduating from Pacific University College of Optomtery.
A few years later, Everson Vision was started in 2004 on the urging of a family friend and retired German Ophthalmologist, Rudolf Bordeville, who believed every young doctor needed his own private office, and a zealous real estate agent Bob Bateman who incidentally was managing a certain building where Everson Vision was first located.
Over the years, what started as a part-time hobby project turned into Dr. Ilyin's primary place of work.
In 2009 Everson Vision acquired a building across the street from the original office and moved to its current location. We see people from all over the rural community including Nooksack, Deming, Maple Falls, Lynden, and of course Everson.
